I’m looking at Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, it’s going on my to read list, but I do find something bizarre about this cover. I can’t put my finger on it, but I feel like this book should be other than an adult trade title. Anyone want to help me out with this? Maybe I’m just being an oddball today.
Look out for ‘Genesis’ by Bernard Beckett. It was originally published a couple of years ago as YA in New Zealand & now both YA and adult editions in UK – will be published in US early next year (http://www.longacre.co.nz/authors/beckett.html) This is his first venture to scifi but all his YA books have been excellent especially Malcolm and Juliet. I’m currently reading & enjoying Peter F Robinson’s Night’s Dawn Trilogy.
Of course, the famous Young Wizards series! It’s by Diane Duane, and it’s awesome! The series is about two young wizards and their endless fight with the Lone Power, or death. It’s a really good fantasy/science fiction and I recommend it to readers of all ages!
Read Peter Cameron’s Someday this pain will be useful to you. It’s well done.

Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. The most important book I’ve read in my life.
